The Woodenbridge Hotel has been a hotel for nigh on 400 years, having first started business in 1608 there has been ample time to perfect the art of service and hospitality!

The proud owners of the oldest hotel in Ireland are eager to provide the best standards of accommodation and facility and will welcome any comments and suggestions on how to improve the enterprise. One of the main attractions of this Arklow hotel is the outstanding natural beauty that surrounds the Woodenbridge.

From the guestrooms one hears the Avoca river gently weaving through the town, the perfect background soundtrack to an invigorating sleep.
The hotel restaurant, The Redmond Restaurant is an award-winning eaterie that will a serve mouth-watering menu of the finest locally sourced meats, fish, vegetables and poultry. There is also a fine wine list to accompany these exciting dishes with fine varieties of world renowned wines. The bar food has been influenced by the class of the restaurant kitchen and is a cut above the rest.

Capture the genuine ambience of a traditional Irish pub whether it’s during busy festival months or the quieter times during the winter period. Travelling from Rosslare Take the N25 to Wexford Town then take the N11 to Arklow take the second left at the roundabout at the top of Arklow Town down the R747 which leads directly to the Hotel.
